Very cool. What do they do with all those conches?

The island we camp on is a local fisherman island, we are using the conch shells for landfill hense the salt water boton sticks driven into the sand to keep them in.

a couple more. Last pic is a local diver that lives on the island and built that gnarly gun, the wood extension is literary wood from a broom!

yeah it is really intriguing to me as well. In this picture he is tweaking the catch with a hammer and a file that he is reaching for... He was not happy with me taking this picture. The spear is made out of a piece of 5/8ths rebar construction steel

Hank not sure if it's the vest - probably those bright shorts - fish come up thinking a rainbow formed underwater :laughing3::laughing:
