Im in wpb. Traffic is ok most of the time, lost of places to go out and hang. The diving is very good up north(jupiter,stewart) not a lot of hogs in the shallows like in Miami. Palm beach is ok to dive if you go with the right people. Lots of cobia this time of the year. Lots of big fish(aj, kings, cubera, jacks, cobia, cudas, muttons etc)

hah jk the only time ive seen something like that up here was i dove during the spinner migration,,, but from what i've experienced wpb and deerfeild have some decent shoredive oppurtunities, but boca and delray not so much. You need to get that yak out anyway Judah!
If your up in west palm and u get hoooked up with some boat guys though it seems like u could put yourself on some nice fish
I think this calls for some research/scout diving up north. Strap the yaks to the truck and lets go brotha.
I am in GA this weekend anyway but if the next is clear it is a possibility. I have to finish my report from my Belize trip soon but I will keep you posted. Need to get the gills wet before the Keys anyway. :cool2:
Use the hotspots map for some public numbers.
Judah, broward is a good place lots of stuff to do down near the beach and of course las olas and downtown ft lauderdale lots of shorediving potential plus miami/dade and palm beach are just a short drive.
I am living in Wellington, about 10 miles from the ICW due west.
Less derelicts than down south but still has plenty of pockets of ghetto. I like it better up here myself. Less busy. Less crowded...
Ethnically, less hispanics, more whites, bout the same ratio of blacks... Miami area is a very latin...
Nice nightlife if you r single. Lots of stuff to do. Freediving should be better northward of Jupiter, though in lesser vis. South of jupiter, all the reef freediving is 60 plus, in general.
