Video de Crash Boat

  • Very nice composition Pucho. I can't be sure but that sounded like Silvio Rodriguez. What's the species of that fish that had fins like a fan? I've only seen a fish like that once at Bahamas. I shot it and then regretted it because it had little yield. What or who is crash boat?

  • The song is from Roy Brown and the lyrics from Antonio Coretger, Crash Boat is a beach in Aguadilla were the air force used to get fuel to the airport for the planes, no more of the tubes are there, they took them out few years ago, but still most of the piers are there, the piers are in the 18 to 25 feet deep but it gets really deep really fast, there use to be great fishing and spearfishing from those piers, 10 years ago +/- they catch fishing sailfish, I love that place, lots of jacks, mack (have seen HUGE ones there but very scary) and lately pargos, you can see the huge baitfish schools swimming under the piers.

The fish that you see are flying gunards, they sometimes swim with sea robins.

Here is a pic of Crash Boat.

Ps the beach is called Crash Boat because on shore are the remains of a steel boat buried on the sand; well is more like a big platform.
