After all this debate Cancun here I come

    Hey all I just booked a trip to Cancun for 5 days. I plan on hitting up a couple of the spearfishing charters out there but wanted to post and see if anyone has any recommendations as to shore diving. I will be staying at the Westin which is just off of a little reef. I was also curious if I need a fishing license, as I hear shore fishing doesn't require a license? Anyone have any advice? I have contacted both

    You don´t need a license fore fishing whith rode and line from shore.;)


    Yes you do need a license in order to spearfishing.


    I know Leo the owner of spearfishing today is a nice guy, me and my buddies took hin sperfisshing ones in Acapulco. I recomend his busines, the other option I don´t known them.

    All the caribbean ocean in cristal clear so I will take the 130 or the 110 depending on how comfortable are you with shootin the fish from far or get close to it. normaly you have 30 - 100 feet of visibility.
