2015 Guam Discovery Day Competition

I'm gonna start this thread a little early in the hopes that these spearos log on later and write the complete report with pictures.
Leagues Deep of Guam (ck Youtube for their vids) has entered and SMASHED the competition yesterday (28Feb2015) here on Guam. This was a shore dive, freedive, swim out, 1man up/1 man down competition. Just remember that here on Guam we can easily shore dive/swim, out to depths over 200-400fsw and this team CAN do the deepest and longest spearing freedives that I have ever seen.
I am very proud just to know these spearos and want to congratulate them on their win. :hooray::toast2:

Sir: Are they military or civilians Hau? I was offered a job on Guam around early or maybe mid 80's to work at the FAA Radar/tracon site but had just accepted a promotion and turned them down. Life/fate takes us on some interesting roads at times. Have wondered from time to time if thst wasn't a major mistake not to go.

I went and looked at a few other videos - pretty impressive diving environment and some very good divers. Seems the use some well used RIFFE Euro's. I expect you dive just as well - did you enter the tournament Hau?

The air is so clean, there is only 1 smoke stack in 400mi. The water is CRYSTAL clear. The jungle is soooo green year round. The girls r soooo friendly :rolleyes1: to white guys AND I got a senior discount at some of the massage parlors

Had I gone, so close to accepting, good chance I would be dead already (friendly Girls) :laughing:

So Sir - yo can't be nearly that old - how old are you Sir? Much smaller number than mine for sure.
