I hate spearboard so much!!

I think I was banned years ago when some a answered someone text and told them I use Pursuit Carbon fins.....
I'm not missing much, and feel happier.

I was banned from spearfishing planet after sending Dano/mako a pm saying I'll kick his ass at the blue wild if he copies another one of my products. They gave me the courtesy of stating the reason so I know Dano snitched

just do us a favor and dont act here like you do on SB.

Spearboard is full of childish drama yes. BUT....

I recall getting a pm from you over there threatening me about something once and it seems like you have a habit of doing that to a lot of guys.. you thought because I was a "new" member on that forum that it meant I must be "new" to diving and the ocean, which is far, far from the case.

My advice to you regarding your attitude is that in life you typically get out what you put in. I prefer to put my energy into good things and often find that is what I get back.

However, regardless of what my initial impressions are of you, I would be more than happy to go diving with you sometime this summer. I was born, raised and live in San Diego and know my backyard playground pretty well.

I loaned my summer gun to a buddy in Hawaii last month though, so when I finish building the cannon I'm working on now I'll send you a message and we can go recon for some nice fish.

I don´t know if I am still allowed to log in there. I have no reasons to log in such a place tho. Dan r and Don are good friends of mine, so I bear a grudge over people not meaning well to them. The reasons for that ole beef are preposterous to say the least. No real experienced spearo post tjere anymore.

Tony has an informant reporting back to him, which I think is a good thing. I wish Tony best wishes and piles of money to retire on. Hopefully he can see that he is leaving a trail of broken dreams with his business practices. Sponsors are sponsors and that is that. But what goes on in a thread is the nuts and bolts of a forum. Deleting threads that were not created by a non sponsor is a strong handed tactic. Censoring threads, is unfair and misleading to members. It took me like 3 years to figure out that certain companies could not be mentioned on spearbored. It was a complete surprise, shocking, and left a strange feeling. It's pay to play, and that's OK. I just have not seen other forums of other sports operate in this model. And I don't have to like it.

Lame, sounds like such a big weird game. It still boggles my mind that non sponser's gear cant be mentioned or shown in images. shameless self promotion is one thing but conversation is another

And that very fact hurts divers. When I got into the sport, I had no local influence to test or compare gear with. I went over there and read the "MAKO is the best ever" rhetoric. So wanting to get set up right the first time, I spent over $1000 on their gear. To be fair, their gear all is functional and does its job, and some of it does its job very well. But in hindsight I wish I had held out and spent my money more wisely on different gear, even if it meant spending more in the long run. I would rather do things right the first time and be completely happy than have to slowly replace pieces here and there. Some more objective criticism would have been helpful at the time.

We all love this sport of spearfishing, that why we are here. Who cares what sites you like and don't like. Who said what and to who. Move on.

I care.

Spearboard and its management affect the "sport of spearfishing" in more bad ways than you know, and our community should be made aware of it. That's why we have a forum section here for spearboard matters.
