Last weekend. Some more muttons

Water should be clearing up by this time of the year but is still murky. Anyway, fish are there and we always get some.

This is a mutton snapper that started spinning like crazy after the shot:

And this is an almaco jack that almost holed after I was trying to make a double. I ended shooting in the middle of his body. :rolleyes1:

The Yellow jack was shot on Saturday and my camera battery was dead, so no video. But it needed two shots and 3 descents to bring it to the boat.

70' -100'. The shallowest spot I dive is 42' (12 mt). When I'm in the mood, I take my kids to a reef at 33-40'.

Pulling gills out and using your spear tip to brain them…..forget your knife that day?.

There are some sunken containers in the area and a sailboat. I don't use the knife too much. The gills thing, I already told about it, is to bleed the fish. The meat turns out wither and milder.
