Yesterday sea was flat and water was clear. I went out with my son Alessandro and my friend Ricardo.
We went to one of our usual spots (a wreck where wahoos pass when the current direction is right and the water is clear). As soon as we anchor, Ale is the first to hit the water and he yells "Pá! está full de picúas!" (Daddy, is full of cudas!). So I tell him: go get one! He dove and when he surfeced his tumb was pointing upwards, so I realized he did got one. But he lost it. Apparently, when grabbing the shaft, the fish shaked and teared off.
Then I dropped the flashers, got a couple sardines and entered the water. Two wahoos didi their first pass. They were calm but didn't come close enough for a secure shot, so I chose not to shoot and scare them.
Then, after a deep dive to the wreck, I heard the Shhhklonck! of my friend pneumatic and while ascending, I see Ale fighting with a nice Dorado! :thumbsup2: Both had a fish on and Ricardo told me there was another around. He throws a sardine and he comes by. He's mine.
Later on, I got a wahoo after a slightly high head shot. But this is about Ale.
I have both videos but they haven't uploaded yet. Will post them later.
Here some pics. :cool2:
