I got Poncho and Willie in March from a friend of mine who is die hard Airedale guy....I had some reservations(only cause I could be leaving at anytime) at first cause I had heard Airedales can be a tad bit...well... headstrong. However, my family and I are dog folks so we were content to observe and see what's what.
My thoughts ? They love and adore their people. Keep 'em close and they'll do anything asked of 'em.Highly obedient, unless ignored.:) As far as my future dog arsenal ? Fast dogs.....and always a pair of Airedales. BTW, they work water as good as any Lab. Might be the Otterhound in them.And they love to retrieve.
They are now 6 mos. old.
