I was thinking yes, or at least trying it out and seeing how that goes! I love scuba but this style would mix it up a bit... Then again I'm always open to other thoughts as well.

I am a certified scuba diver in upstate New York and dive often in Alexandria Bay, but spearfishing has recently peaked my interest as something new and exciting. I am interested in looking to get involved and learn the ropes, but I don't know where to even begin (more so in this area) as I only know a few dozen upstate New York locals who dive and none that spear. I am open to any and all advice, ideas or recommendations on how to get started and broaden my horizons!
