Greetings from Greece!
We decided to go for another dive despite the heavy winds in the area! I will capture a golden grouper and a few dives before we head back home Nikos will capture a very nice amberjack!!!

There is no logic... They say it is because fish breed during May... But not all fish breed during May... Also if the fish breed during May then why allow commercial fishing and fishing with rods? But it is what it is...

In Greece, spearfishing is prohibited during May. Only spearfishing though.... All the commercial fishing is allowed and fishing with fishing rods is allowed too... So If we take the boat and a rod and catch a fish during May it is ok but if we dive and catch it, it is not ok....
Unfortunately we have to comply with the law and stay away from spearfishing for a whole month.

Hi guys! The spearfishing season has opened in Greece and we had the first dive!
