This water caves "cenotes" are great places to do free diving. That one " Cenote dos ojos" is one of my favorites. Actualy, Carlos Coste will be here in Mérida to give us a course on advanced Free diving.
This video is from me and my freediving buddies two weeks ago in "Cenotes de Cuzamá". When we have bad weather at the sea, this is where we go for FD. Hope you like it

Nice trail Dan, but I think there is something tricky. Not only color is what you are involving in the test. There is also brightness of the dot. i.e.You can use dots of the same color ( same wavelenght), but with diferent brightness. Specially with that dark background. Maybe a brighter, color saturated orange or red will do more contrast, thus more noticeable. Thats just my humble opinion.
    Cheers!!

    Found it...:D

That green may not be the most visible and contrasting... but definitely attractive in that image. :D
I think orange is the most visible color over a blue background. Thats because our cone cells in the retina
make a big signal to the brain when we see those colors together. It is called contrast and it is a physiology fact.

    Hello!!
My name is Jaime Magallón. I live in Mérida Yucatán México. I fish and spear all along the coast of Yucatán and when ever possible in the coast of Quintana Roo, from Cancún down to the borther of Belize.
I just started to SF 1 year ago and I got hooked with this amazing and addictive sport. My knowledge is very basic and limited, but Im eager to learn from all of you dudes. Ive been reading some of your posts and find them interesting and realy cool!! Also I can see that many of you guys speak spanish which makes me a bit confortable ( I speak some spanglish :D )
I found this forum by googling on the web "camo wetsuits", which lead me to the Pursuit web site.
So far I may contribute with some expirience with free diving and apnea physiology basics ( Im a Biomedical Engeneer).Right now I do 4:30 on static and 80 mts dynamic , which is not very impressive, but Spearfishing just changed my life, I am 45 y old and finaly quit smoking and started to excecise, after years of being a smooking coach potato..
Still waiting for a chance to show off that big trophy cobia.:rolleyes1: But first I should learn from you all.
