Dan, what Troutcatcher said! I dont know of anyone who does though these days. In the 60's when my father was active in the sport a lot of Grey Nurse Sharks were speared simply for sport. Has taken a long time for the spearo image to recover from some of that activity.

This terrible flood is less than an hours drive from where I live. I can well and truly believe this story. Others have seen them chasing mullet around the flooded streets.

My name is Larry Gray, I live on the Gold Coast, Australia and dive mostly around this area. My diving these days is predominately with my 12 year old son who is just starting to get hooked on this great sport.
