Sciatica so bad I was in bed for three weeks on morphine while three dr.s said surgery for 5th lumbar. Went to VA physical therapist and he said not back at all but twisted pelvic. Fixed me on couch in about 30 seconds. Took month for all pain to go a way. Very common as 95% of back problems for sciatica he sees are from pelvic not back, Many useless surgeries. I had back problems like most over 40 and now over 60 and assumed back. I gave up tanks all together due to back. Found freediving really helps. Good luck and don't believe what every Doc tells you if it really gets unbearable check around.

MY wife has shot several from 25 to 40lbs under the rigs but pretty much stoned them. One she fought till very tired out away from her and then handed me shooting line to gaff it. Respect the teeth of any preditor. Can you eat them in Antgua? Used to stay at Crabs on north end at Parham sound and Barbuda for two years miss the place.
Have you tried a reel? You are right sometimes float line is a mess when swells sweep line on to breaking reef. We use reel clamped down tight in shallow reef areas and can still back off drag if need be.Cuda freezes better than redsnapper and is one of our favorites..

This post reply might go out twice but hey I would love to take you diving out of Dauphin Island Al., if you can. I have small fish camp on coast with a bunk. Lots of big snapper till season closes around July18? My wife and I will be over in Lousiana for La Freediive Champioship around July 15 to 18?. You could come there to. I know Alabama best. My wife and I dive out of alabama with our buddy, member Mightykc, hitting the rigs in summer. Have been fortunate to live aboard and live off sea for years before settling in Alabama. Just got into serious blue water and two trips to Baja for Redsea Shootout. You should check out Palapas Ventana near LaPaz, great people and very economical considering. Also Redsea Ocean Adventures out of Hawaii. Great people too. Have 23' center console and allways up to take someone out. Give me a while as I don't stay on internet.
