Hello all! I've been SCUBA diving, freediving, and spearfishing Oregon, Washington, and California waters since 1983. I went to work for the local dive shop (Deep Sea John's in Newport, OR! Anyone here remember that shop?) at age 15 to work off my first SCUBA certification. My current job has me traveling around the country so I don't get a chance to dive as often as I would like anymore. I've been out of the freediving community for a little while but a recent work-related trip to Florida drew me back. Seems like every time I do a Google search on a freediving topic, it directs me here! So, I thought it was about time I joined the forum. Seems like you have a wonderful community here with a wealth of information and experience.
