Dan,
Prices vary so much being that my guns are custom made that I don't even bother with a price list, however I guarantee that the customer will not be disappointed by the quote. I prefer the customer to contact me via email at: freediver1965@yahoo.com or PM me through this site being that I'm usually at the shop and cannot readily answer all calls, much less figure a cost over the phone at a split second. I hope you all understand.
Julio
p.s. I constantly monitor my emails and the site.

Here's a few of the guns I've built upon moving here a year ago...enjoy:

Thanks again Dan. I'm usually working on guns already ordered (fortunately) but I'll definitely post a few I've made in the past on the new post you created.

Thanks Hau. I'm currently working on two more that will definitely be a challenge. Sorry to derail.

The above is a gun I built one of the local spearos here between other guns being that he wasn't in such a hurry. I took it to him at a dinner set up by Efraín "Frank Picúa" where a lot of Puerto Rico Freedivers Club members attended and I was quite taken aback at the positive responses including the Great One himself, Roberto Reyes.
It was great to see adults acting like a kid in a candy store upon checking the gun out. It made all the time and effort worthwhile. Here's a pic from that night...

Dan,
I didn't even know it was featured on that site since I don't even venture there anymore.

These days I´m not chumming at all to avoid the temptation to shoot them... Next month for sure not!Amen to that!;):thumbsup2:
Oye, Luisito tiene un nuevo juguete que te quiere enseñar. Espero que te guste.

Marco,
I'm not sure if you've fished in So. Florida but the currents there can be brutal at times. I haven't experienced any strong currents here in PR yet. And you're right about the chumming and Samas here BTW!

Alberto,
Bienvenido hermano.

I vividly remember some years back diving with Rolo in the Keys when I speared a yellow jack in crystal clear water and as I looked around for cudas a huge bull came out of nowhere and took the fish right out of my hands in a cloud of bubbles and blood. I thought at the time the damned thing had taken my hand! After a change of wetsuit;) I was back in the water.

Bienvenido Julito el coquí del otro Julio "El Coquí Submarino".;)

This site may be helpful for Puerto Ricans or spearos thinking on visiting.
It's a PDF file which may take a while to download but well worth it if you want to stay within the law.

Se jodio el Caballerote y el perro tambien.:D
Damn, it's been a loooooong time since I've heard Caballerote!!!
I thought that was a schoolmaster. I think mangrove snapper in Cuban is cubereta.

I think it's fairly easy to tell them apart while the fish is alive and in their habitat, however it's difficult for me to tell them apart once they've lost their natural coloring due to being in the icebox and more so in a picture. Like Dan said, the bigger they are the easier it is to tell them apart.
