This looks like a pretty cool camera. I like that it shoots 120 frames per second! One thing I don't like so far is the waterproof housing! Looking at the side view it looks like the lense is a dome. Maybe this is another scheme to have us buy the upgraded flat lense later on. Looks like a good price, and I've always been a fan of Sony. I will probably buy one and review it when I do.

Check it out guys. Here is another video all filmed in San Diego California with a GoPro.
YouTube - Broadcast Yourself. -
Shaun is my buddy that edited it with his MacBook. The WSB ranged from 24-36inches. There were hundreds in the school. They were swarming us like that for a good 30 minutes and I don't remember seing the end of them. At one point I was completely surrounded by them. They knew they were in the reserve or something cause they were not like the normal spooky ones I see elsewhere!

Check out this video my friend and I filmed the other week. Enjoy!

Which footpockets grip onto the blades best? I am about to order some fins, but I do not want and holes drilled in the blade. If I glue my blades into the footpocket does that void the warranty if the blade breaks, or does that void the warranty for just the footpockets?

Wow this is really messed up! They are targeting them now? Those fish 16-20ft long are 60-100 years old. It's pretty crazy how much man can influence their surrounding environments. I wish I could have seen what the sea o Cortez looked like before humans raped it.

Thanks for sharing this. I can't believe that this is still going on! These people need to get a life. Hop in the water and really see the seals for themselves. I'm sick of seeing these "environmentalist" sitting up on their perch, screaming absurd things to innocent beach goers!

Thanks for the replies guys. I'm leaning more towards the c90s since most of my diving will be less than 100ft. In the future if I start doing a lot more deep freediving, I'll save up and buy the c100s. I love getting new gear anyways. Now I just need to decide on some footpockets.

Nice work! Everything sounds good except for that turkey bacon:puke: thanks for sharing

For those of you using speardiver carbon fins. What length did you get and what type of diving are you doing with them? I am thinking about picking up a pair soon and would like some input.
I do a lot of reef diving and kelp diving here in Southern californial and in baja, anywhere from 20-60ft right now. I'm not diving really deep yet, but I will be taking an advanced freedive class in the phillipines, and the fii course here in the states. I was thinking about getting the c100s because I would like the extra propulsion for deep diving, but am worried they will be too long for reef diving baja.
Do you guys ever dive reefs where you might have to pull a fish out of a hole in the reef, or are you supposed to baby the fins and not bump them against rocks at all?

Is it safe to drill holes for mounting the screws, or will drilling a hole cause it to fracture? I've never used any carbon or composite fins so im not too familiar with how they are mounted.
-
What is the most popular footpocket people get with these fins? Will other footpockets not mentioned on your site work as well? I have a pair of Omer stingray footpockets, will these work with the blades?

Was the Nixon a dive watch? Enjoy that f10, I love mine. It's the only dive watch that I've owned, but now I would prob have a hard time diving without one! It's nice not to have to remember when you started your breath up and dives, and just focus on relaxing.

Nice 'but! Great story too!

Really nice video! You are really good at grabbing those suckers. I need to get the technique down still. Thanks for posting.

Hello everybody,
My name is David, and I'm addicted to freediving/spearfishing. I've been diving for 2 years all over San Diego, mainly by kayak and shore dives. I really like taking the kayak out and paddling long distances to find new spots.
I'm also a member of the San Diego Freedivers. If anyone wants to do a kayak dive, let me know. I usually take the yak out on the weekends, and am willing to do a day or night dive off them for bugs or fish.
See you in the water,
David
