I'd go with an Omer, but I agree with the length of the gun being a factor to consider. That's a pretty small gun, and really a one-bander is mostly just for smaller fish. Can't hit anything at range without suffering accuracy.

Go with the Sporasub. They are great guns now. Literally 4 years ago many of them sucked, but since Omer bought them they are great. Kind of like car companies. They go through phases of quality, and Sporasub is at a high right now.

Actually, you just bend the shaft back to true, and it works fine.

OK, here's my intro... Been diving a bit my whole life, but got more into it about ten years ago. Love wreck diving, I rarely shoot fish I don't eat, and never shoot more than we'll consume.
I don't like people shooting fish unsustainably, and I think that's what is hurting our hogfish and grouper populations. That's about it.
