I see the shrimpers out from my apartment... theres a certain time of year where there all out there...and its like a nascar derby... all doing the same circle right by the bridge like 10-15 boats.. with people on shore with all the lights and gear. i hear from some friends that go that its a huge battle everyones yelling at each other boat get to close to cast lines and ppl start throwing rocks... a real battle shrimp royal:D

ya sdeisen theres room, 5 max for a comfortable experience so one more spot for anyone else interested... meet at Rickenbaker marina at... what time in the a.m. is good for all you? I like my sleep so nothing too early.

Yep cubera, only in 30 ft of water in a huge cave was a real team effort. i spotted, buddy got first shot in tail she kicked up so much sand had to wait a good 3-5 minutes for it to settle. dove down noticed he was all the way in the back from the initial entrance. swam over the cave to the other side and his face was right up in the hole, i put the stone shot right thru the head(Aimrite Carbon 110?). i came up, my buddy went down pushed his gun (old Cressi pneumatic) thru and pulled it out the side i shot em.

Yesterday, All the way south of elliot, Also bagged 4 hogs, 5 mangroves, 1 lion, 2 black grunts(margates?) not pictured.

My buddy got the cuda didn't go all the way thru so i quickly sped over and got the second shot in him. Me and my buddy hopped in at a spot and right below was this jack and another, my buddy quickly dove n i followed with good distance in hope to get the second one swimming away. my buddy shot and stoned it, cold. At first the other one didn't have a clue what happened, as i engaged he quickly learned up and was outta range before i could close the distance. The mac is my biggest mac to date he was the alpha male of the school. I wasn't even paying attention dropping down when i hear my buddy making the sound to look, i looked n saw maybe 20-30 mac's coming head on. luckily they decided to drop under me instead of the wide loop I'm used to. I didn't hesitate the biggest one was in the lead lined him up before he could start his dancing game i took a shot thru the top/side of his head. My buddy came up n took a second shot to make sure we had him.

All in all great day out there with vis top to bottom in 65ft. with 1/2 foot waves.

looks like opening day for grouper is ruined....rain rain go away come back another day! jeeze

*got some more pics also...just waiting for tapatalk to allow me to upload..somedays it works somedays it doesn't...if anyone has any troubleshooting tips please lmk.

really sick idea...I'd be interested in one for the right price. I really like the idea of a skinnier gun and the carbon stringer enforcement. I'd want a longer 3 bander forsure.

Al, there's an easier way to process a triggerfish by skinning it. Someone please chime in and explain.

yes please! anyone who knows a flawless trigger skinning method please share. iv tried and couldn't get a good grip to rip away the skin..and it started takin meat off my fillets

Hahaha! putting me to shame on my first post! ...I'm just kidding, but dang they were able I stay on top of them for long it looks like...we had some heavy current and they were going head on into it...on top of that they were going deeper seeing there buddy's missing..fighting the current and doin 40+ ft drops is quiet a challenge

It took my buddy an hour n half to fillet all the fish in my first pic...can't imagine how long it took with all thos triggers!
