Thanks guys. It seems like the further north in the sea of cortez you go the shallower you get the good sized yellow pargo.
Nate the solid yellow fish is a Golden Grouper. Which is actually a leopard grouper with some sort of genetic mutation or something. -
Wahoo love flashers!
I haven't hunted wahoo in Florida but the way that I have always been able to get the closest to wahoo is to float on the surface like a log jigging your flasher setup that is attached to a buoy under you. When they come In I try to make a dive as quiet as I can and not look directly at the fish. -

I have been told that this is being pushed by a large corporation that has proposed the largest tuna cannery in the south pacific in the soloman islands, This is just a ploy to protect "their" tuna while they are outside the range of the fleet. They are trying to eliminate the competition, aka recreational guys...
