Havnt been able to spear with this bad viz in shallow but the hook and line fishing out deep has been on fire. Fished depths between 150' to 110 and limited on ARs and Grouper in 4 hours. :thumbsup2:

Hey Chuckd, beautiful catch. I noticed the spearing magazine boat the other day while I was docking @ Anclote Village. What a sweeeet ride!! Must be nice fishing out a a great vessel like that. I am new to spearfish and freediving and looking forward to getting out and on some of the shallow ledges (20-35 ft) out of Tarpon and Clearwater. This post really has really got me wanting to get out there. Keep up the good fishing.

Hello all,I am new to spearfishing and glad to be a member of speardiver. I am a life long fisherman and outdoorsman and do most of my fishing out of Tarpon Springs, FL. I am scuba certified and comfortable free diving to about 35 ft. I look forward to expanding my knowledge and building relationships with other local spear fisherman.
