I am a yak person since I'm 10 yrs old. I was growing up doing competitions.
Rivers, white-waters, lakes, oceans, several week tours, diving with tanks, Spearfishing, kayak-sailing.
I have always owned many yaks and tried many diferent styles. I can call myself a yak-nut.
I would say it with confidence that for FreeDiving, one of the best is the Wilderness Systems Tarpon series.
If you wanna save money, Precision Sport Pescador is the exact same kayak for a cheaper price.
it has a rounded side (unlike ocean kayaks) and easy to get in and get out of the water. It has a rails so u can mount stuff on it. The seat is awesome. Like many sit on tops, very stable and it holds a straight line. Buy a used one in a good condition. - my 2c.

I am making an quick comparison with 5 well known carbon fins (Omer, DiveR, HST, C4, C90) .
It is only based on my experience with these fins after several months and in some case years (whatever might that worth).
The C90 is one of the newest addition and I need more time with it, but its doing pretty darn good so far.
I will post the review with pictures in 2weeks.
For now, the least I have to say that I am happy with it.
    Aye! for sure :D

    nice video Don!
Its always good to look back and remember..
This is one of those things - as more time will pass by, it will only going to get even greater.

The Sporasub ONE is a great gun & my 80cm has a great balance.....

Whether it's worth it to you, is more a matter of personal preference (& level of discretionary income).
I second what spearomen said regarding getting a shorter Rabi with reel.

Thanks Fuzz! ...It seemed that I'm alone with this omer/sporasub thing.
I really have no income or compensation of any kind from omer or sporasub, nor I am pushing any product of theirs - as you can see that I recommended a shorter Rabi or RA. None that I own (yet!! ;) , but tried.
I am just being honest. No need to bash any company or any products. They all have good people with
    in.
Successes and failures are part of any development. I know some people can spear with a screwdriver...
We all know that there is not a single speargun that is perfect or Fuzz here wouldn't have an army of them.. hehe. :D

Sporasub is now Omer. People knows what I think about Omer products... :nono:

i didnt like the idea of omer first... but with time, I have tried out many of their products and i am not saying that im the fan of all of them - i had a few dissapoitments (excalibur).. but the omer ET 75, 85 are great for the Californian coast.
also - my friend keeps trying different guns, yet hes falling back to the sporasub 105 over and over again. I also got an 80 version of it and I like it very much(!) These three (ET75/ET85/ONE80) became my favorite guns. In my opinion they are great for california waters and in the kelp forest....if its for 'blue' and 'open' than probably i woul pick something else. Maybe a Rob Allen or Rabitech..... By the way, i dealt with omer customer service (twice) and they exchanged my LED, and my shaft no question asked. I also like their wetsuit because it keeps me warm from 9AM till 3PM in a sub 50F water.
.i do agree that the sporasub one is a little overpriced but if you do the math, reel, line, gun in one package (u can get it for 520 now not 600)
the carbon vs alu issue is really not an issue... i have a carbon gun, yet i use these alu things all the time. Again, it's Just my opinion.... but you choose what you like :)
Try it before you buy it! There is nothing worst than spending all that money and you hate the result.
If you LOVE your Rabi 130 (its a great gun) and you just want a shorter gun with a reel, than just get a a shorter Rabi with a reel. You would exactly know what you get and its a sure thing.

BTW you need to add a set of pursuit carbons to that collection.

    More Pics!

Top right corner TADAAA!!! / Sneak Attack!! - without any markings, Pursuit/Speardiver C90 with a Pathos pocket ;)
i cant post more pictures... because
i already divorced once for my hobbies hehe.. and the gf would might dump my diving, oceansmelling, fishlover butt
if she finds out that i spending more on this than on her.
......on the other hand, i would have more time for diving.. hmmmm....

    Holly Crap Harold!
I am newer to the sport but
    Till now, - I didnt know that i have a problem and i am becoming a "gear-whore".
I remember that a year ago i only had two guns - i dont even have that two anymore but now,
    somehow i have 'only' 8.
this scares me. i really needed this... Thank you for waking me up!!
Thats it! I promise that i will not buy any gear for the next 5 years...
    ..ughmm...
...lets just make it 2 years ....baby steps. :D

First I didn't like the idea and I didn't see a good reason to use any computers.
I felt that I was just fine without it.
    I couldn't be more wrong.... since I used a D4 I cannot go back.
If you are also a scubadiver than in my opinion its a must.
I wear my D6 every day. It's smaller than a G-shock and its comfortable.
Not to mention that it can literally save your life... It's a good investment.

Nice video, great way to make an introduction. Welcome.

Actually, we met in person already... a few months back on the south HW1/Cabrillo Hwy we pulled over south of Carmel... You were with your brother and someone else and we were eyeballing some spots with two of my spearfisher buddies. ..'competition'!! ..tsk tsk tsk :D hehehe. It's nice to see you here!!

I have two ET, but shorter ones - 75 and 85 - hunting groundFish, they make more sense here in the low-vis waters of central california... (even that enclosing doesnt make much difference on a short gun) they are my favorite guns especially my 75 sees a lots of use.
the only thing you have to watch for if/when you hole hunting, make sure that the shaft clears the track before it hits anything hard... not like you would use your 130 for such a thing, cause than you would need a shorter gun.. hehe, ;) just saying....

    Welcome Greg!

Hope to see you out there again! :thumbsup2:

    Thanks for all the "welcomes"!
Yeah, this weekend we had horrible swells so i spent some time with rigging BUT
hopefully next weekend will be fine - so see you around!! hehehe! :D
