I am ready to buy Wong 55GR or possibly GR+ and a Wong 50-55 open . Mid handle only.
Ready to buy, will buy new if nothing comes up in the next 2 weeks.
You've been leaving that 55 on the boat for too many trips...
Will consider comparable guns from other manufacturers.

Welcome. I grew up in Kona my family is still there actually. Lots of good info here.

My name is Carl and I am a spear diver with my two sons on the Big Island. We primarily dive local reefs for Uhu and other mid size reef dwellers.
I had been focused on diving more and forums less until I recently lost my Wong 50" Hybrid on a dive. I started looking for that gun or a new gun and found there was quite an education to gain on the forums. So here I am. You'll see me on many of the sub forums all though I am more of a reader than a writer. I particularly like the technical aspects of things and am going to do some blue water diving from shore as soon as I acquire a new gun
I am in the market for a Wong 50-55 mid handle hybrid GR or open and a 55-60 GR plus or Magnum OR a comparable gun. Ready to buy so if you have a 50 that is too small or a 55 that is to small/big let me know.
