Just wanted to introduce myself as per the rules. I found this forum searching for info on foam filling a couple of older backup guns. The posts on using syntactic foam were outstanding, and I will be picking up some from the supplier/manufacturer tomorrow. Their facility is only about 30 min from my home.
I dive on the oil and gas platforms anywhere from 35 to 70miles off the coast. We hunt ling, amberjack, grouper, and red snapper in season. All are diving is done with scuba and most of us use Riffe guns.
