I think it's gonna be a while until I build my own gun though it does sound rewarding. I was looking at the speardiver guns and the reviews on the carbon one. It's nice and I plan on checking it out soon. Lunker buster I would like to do a shore dive some time. Especially when this wind does down. Hey im new to this forum and new to spearfishing. Ive been doing it for about a year now and love it!! Ive been fishing and hunting my whole life and this incorporates both. Thats winning! anyways im looking to upgrade from my Biller 42 to something a little bigger and nicer. I dive off the south east coast of Florida around Fort Lauderdale in waters from 30-50ft. I was going to buy a Mako but I read a thread started by Dan so im looking elsewhere. I know theres alot of experience here so I would love some suggestions on some quality guns that arent too expensive. my limit would be $500. Thanks

My name is Nick and I have been diving for about a year now. Im out of south Florida and free dive the reefs in the area. So far im lovin it and look forward to learning from people that have experience and maybe making some friends along the way.
