Any tips on making these for the neptonics under mech handle? What thickness should I start with?

I have a 57" midhandle that i made its my all around gun. But can bring a riffe #5 if its clear or a 40" home made midhandle for bad viz.
20-30' viz sounds like all I need is the 57"

Freshwater experts. I am going to Mead this weekend, taking a Houseboat out of Callville Bay and will be bringing my boat to explore and dive out of.
This will be my first time spearing there. My quiver ranges from a Comp 0 to a 65" with a few midhandles mixed in. Should I plan on good viz and bring the heavy hitters or something quicker to reload. Do you recommend slip tips for stripers?
Targeting Stripers and carp. Any recommendations on where to dive (general areas) or type of structure to look for would also be appreciated.
Thanks.

Well the nice thing about these is that you can change the handle by removing the 1/4"x20 bolt from the inside and put any after- market AR handle on it.
Could be wrong but I think its 1/4 28TPI

I guess my IP is now banned without warning.

Spearboard is getting pretty worthless aside from the gun building section so I signed up over here for my desk diving fix.
I live in N. San Diego County been diving since I was a kid, more seriously in the last 4 years.
Always looking for new dive buddies. Beach dives, Kayak dives (Hobie Outback) or Boat dives (15' CC to get me to the kelp beds)
I have built a couple guns and am always thinking about the next one.
