    Hi Keith,
Why 10mm for the spear?? On fish < 50 Kgs action most important and necessary is the "inhibition" the knock give you 75% more to catch very big fish in best conditions, first one shorten its dead…and prevent loss :)
Why to put a small motor in a Ferrari

Sorry to write in French but more easy for me…
    Bonjour Philippe,

Hi Maco, thank you for the background history, I welcome you as a spearfishmen. Here in the US I am a member
of IUSA, USOA, and also spearfish in Tahiti and Mexico..... I can be Catholic, Protestant or Jewish, but only spearfish with muscle powered guns. If your gun could use air from a tank that was hand pumped It would be
    more like a pneumatic. ;):D
I am the proud owner of 6 Co2 guns but they are 60 years old.;)

    Cheers, Don

    Hi Don,
did you tried to pump a tank 0,5 litre at 150 bars??? You need muscle trust me :D
Each people can choose his solution or trust :cool2:
    Thanks,
    Maco

I'm a new member by necessity, some people know me on this forum, I'm the Maco2's manufacturer, it is not my habit to participate on forums, but sometime I saw some informations wrong :confused1: and so, I would like to explicate the situation. I worked on this project by passion, I'm a old spear diver my chance was to hunt in Africa with a Pelletier during many years. Few years ago, I decided to make reborn this fabulous speargun :) It is not my job, but I created "Maco2" like I said with passion and after a big work and 4 years, I tested the prototype in Guinea, it was in 2008. Today, I'm a very small manufacturer and I work on request, my clients are around the world, I never said I'm the best, but each feedback are for me a very big satisfaction. May be you don't like Air or Co2 system, it is not a problem… the choice in spearguns is the same like a religion :) and the most important for the spear diver is not his choice of the speargun but his possibility to go down in the blue with it and take some pleasure ;) I don't want to become rich, money is not important, I try to communicate with all persons this passion for the sea and the spear diving and if I brought this action, it's my achievement :thumbsup2:
