LunkerBuster, ya thats why I have been going to the east coast (no boat) and doing charters (charters are much cheaper there). I went in the gulf once with a charter out of Naples and it cost me 120$ and I have all my gear! Just ridiculous when I can get a good charter for 60$ on the east coast.

Hello my name is chris, I am a traveling ER nurse. I am just getting into the sport of spearfishing. I have only done spearfishing while scuba diving (a hand full of times), but I am very interested in getting into freediving. I live in Naples,Fl but since I dont have a boat I mostly go diving with charters out of ft lauderdale or west palm beach. I am looking to expand my experiences and hopefully do some beach freediving/spearfishing in the near future. I look forward to learning and sharing experiences through this forum, I have already read some very informative posts.
