I have recently retired in the U.S. and moved to Baja, I am originally from Sonora. I am a new speardiver, can't go very deep or stay very long, but I am having a blast and getting nice fish. Recently, I have finished building a beach home in the San Quintin área, where there are lots of WSB, looking forward to spearing my first. Gonzgaga is one of my favorite places to spearfish. On the pacific side I dive off of my 23' panga and on the gulf side I use a 14' Boston Whaler. El Nino has brought WSB and YT into our bay early this year and the YFT are 20 miles out.
I have been diving alone quite a bit, it would be nice to meet speardivers to share the experience with. Look forward to hearing from fellow speardivers in the área.
