Hello,
My name's Marian and I'm new to spearfishing / freediving. I first gained interest last summer when I was on an internship around Japan, and have since spearfished / dove in Monterey and Saipan with friends who are far more capable than me, lol. (perks of having to travel for school
)Now that I'm home in Long Beach, and before I head back up to NorCal for schoo,l I'd like keep diving, especially since I've heard how great some of the spots are down here. I figured this forum would be a great place to meet other people and to continue learning the nuances of spearo culture from people who've had far more experience.
