Right I agree about the depth

I thinking more of them being able to be like dad and shallow surface swims.

try explaining long slow kicks to 4 and 6 year, :diver2: you will get schooled on how information is received verse how you thought you sent it.

Any ideas for kids size 11 or 12 my kids love watching me with my long fins.

I would like to find some that fit them any ideas would be appreciated.

My youngest 4 is already diving to 10 ' with no fins :thumbsup2:

OK thanks Dan I understand the reverse squeeze better.

My thinking is that it might help with a few things

    1) relaxing the drum maybe loosen it up a little.

    2) by having a better coat of lube in the ear might help with water getting trapped in the first place. I know that after a dive and I use a cleaning solution it does feel nice when that last bit of trapped water frees itself.

I guess no one has herd of such a product, It was just an Idea.

    Wax yes,

as far as purpose, recently I have not had a problem with clearing going down but on the flip I am starting to experience a reverse squeeges I guess you could call it.

Has anyone ever used an ear lube via predive and or post dive?

I have, but cannot remmber what type. I do remember it helping. :confused1:

When I dove with the gun they would spook every time and make that boo-boom sound. When I dove with the camera I wanted them to do it so I could capture the sound. But try as I might they wouldn't spook, even if I made sudden motions with my free arm.

Dan I was under the impression that the sound they made came from there jaw. A warning of sorts to the wiser to back off.

Two dives, on the same wreck, just 2 weeks apart last fall. The first time, there were large red snapper about, but they remained at the edge of my visibility, and often circled around and came up behind me. As soon as I turned and made eye contact, they bolted. Two weeks later, with red snapper season closed, I was literally poking these same fish in the side to get them to move out of my way for a shot on a grouper.

Jeff I bet it has something to do with more of an energy than anything else!!!

Something like our engery feild or electrical impulses

    Nice vid.

Hey Rolo what type camera do u use?

I see the jewfish are as plentiful everywhere, All thoes law makers need to take a look at the bottom of the sea before they make statements that fisherman are over fishing. They aren't getting bigger because of a shortage of eating other "grouper" Its almost anning over here. and there getting more aggresive.

    Nice catch I love sheaphead """""""""""" " the fish """"""""""""""" don't

Thanks Spearo keep them coming, I am thinking about using alot of them in a hull wrap!!!!!!!!

I know your not short for comments, I read your post on safety!! Mind blowing how the basic things can kill you

That Rooster in Panama how do those taste?

    West Coast (Cortez)

Vis- I could see the skyway bridge from the tip of the island around 7miles

    Vis-(water) a depressing 7'

Switch game plan and fished up mangrove, gray snapper, keywest grunts.

We also caught more than 30 red grouper in about an hour. Problem is the were all pisswilly small around 12-15"

    My foot size is 8

    I wore a 3mil sock

As far as the flex statement I made I should have elaborated a little more. With the Omer tuna fins and pockets that I have I mostly used for scuba and snorkeling. It wasn't until recently that I have decided to ditch the tanks. So a more correct statement would have been that my technique, and kicking skills need work, to get the most out of the material and design.

Just a quick post to let anyone else that is hesitate and or unsure about CF fins.

Today I had a chance to dive the fins That I got from Dan. (CF blade with Pathos foot pocket)

Before these fins I had omer tuna fins with omer valerio grassi foot pockets.

I brought both pairs with me just because of the statement I made in the first sentence. Hesitant and unsure.

Without warning I handed them to a buddy on board and he looked at me puzzled then smiled "Nice " he said "New?" "New to me "I said.

1 mile reef was our target 27' max depth, vis today, :angry5: 8'

Bad vis but, I was still pumped. So I ditched the gun and went for a swim
I had a 1..5 mil suit for jelly fish, they seems to to be thick for some reason right now.
2lbs weight and new fins, fins socks

Surface swims were noticeably efficient. I don't know if this was because I was excited or the reports of gray ghost the day before?????
Anyway they were nice. Smooth, friends on the boat said they looked flimsily? When i got back to the boat I ensured then that the word they were looking for was efficient. They did flex more than I was used to but I assure you, once you slow down and do not over kick them (if this makes since) you will understand.

We opted to head further out for a little better vis. 3mile reef 35' vis a little better @ 15'-18' i guess (some times I hate east coaster with their complaining of 30' vis) we found a little structure and in the water we went. I swam around for about 30 min diving to 20-25 seeing very little but being very comfortable. Which I found to be a high positive. My legs were fine no cramping or fatigue which I normally would have felt by now. We took a few mangrove, and one grouper off a new spot (that was worth the gas) One of my friends actually threw me a bottle of water while I was hanging out beside the boat. I then realized that I need to get out and take a break. Dam fins, So I got out of the water and helped removed the Heineken lights from the cooler.:thumbsup2:

I really like the fins and look forward to using them a lot more. That all for now
