    Hiya

I'll be down there soon, dude. More info on the introductions bit.

It won't be long before I get a boat and some thing else that will help those of us up for it hit some spots not really accessible by others ;)

I'll send you my contact details nearer the time and we'll go grab a cold beer.

    Cheers

Just seeing if I can upload pics from an iPad. If it works, this should be me at 60' early on Jan 1, 2000, diving with an annoying little friend.

And this should be the chap I replaced out playing on the old missle frigate, north side Cayman Brac.

Our buddy Jason Belport took these shots.

    Cheers

    Mornin!

Been lurking here for a while but decided to join yesterday and the rules say I've got to say Hello.

    Hello!

As a commercial diver by trade (haven't put on a hat since the late 90's), surfer, diving instructor, holder of a (expired) 100 ton license and general beach bum, it's safe to say I love and am comfortable in the water.

I lived in the Cayman Islands for a few years, 2 on the Brac (where I took over the job from a fellow named Brett LeMaster who left to train at free diving full time and broke the record for static weight free dive) and one in Grand Cayman, where I discovered free diving. It seemed I was ok at the apnea stuff with my deepest breath hold dive being around the 140' mark (hungover and still a smoker at that point!).

I left the warm water behind about 13 years ago and have been living on the little island of Jersey, just off the French coast. My time here has come to an end and I will be getting the keys to our new home on the 15th of October. The keys open a door 15 miles up the road from Key West, so I'm pleased to be headed back to the states and to warm, clear water.

I've still got a lot to learn about spearfishing before I can even ask y'all informed questions, so I'll keep at it and try not to ask the same question as a thousand others already have. I am fully aware that the search button is your friend! ;)

    Cheers
