I agree with Dan that you might want to look in to taking a Free diving Course. It definitely gave me a lot more confidents to dive deeper. If you are unable to take a course there is a good book called Manual Of Freediving by Umberto Pelizzari. This book go's over some freediving fundamentals that will increases your bottom time. It will make you a little more aware of what is happing to your body when holding your breath underwater. In addition it will teach you more efficient ways to breath by using your diaphragm mussels to maximize air consumption. I hope this helps you . Dive Safe!

    Hay Everyone,
I just heard about all the cool stuff here on Speardiver and had to check it out for my stuff. I have been freediving for a little while now but have been getting real hot and heavy the past 2 years. I am currently an FII certified Level 1 freediver that loves to hit local hot spots any chance I get. I am predominantly a Kayak spero do to the high cost of having a boat! LoL With that being said I am fairly comfortable to like 60' with a gun and go out once or twice a week. I am stoked to be part of your guys little click and I hope I get a chance to meet some fellow Speros of South Florida
