Great job picking up sales of the shark shield Dan. I believe more divers in my area will be using these in the near future, very close encounters with Great Whites on the fishing grounds is a reality now unfortunately.

Awesome.. really enjoyed that thanks,

I couldn't resist.. I hope a seal doesn't bite it..... it will get a big surprise

Really nice pictures mate.

Great info. Did the glued parts hold?
Yes the glued held very well. Remember the same bond is made on Inflatable boat transoms and hull to fabric on RIB boats.

Took the shark shield on a log swim yesterday, after a 100 meters I made a adjustment with a stout hair tie I found in the car. While swimming I had no shocks on dives and never knew the unit was there at all, no squeaks. I will add a couple bait stickers at the tail end I'll substitute the hair tie for a O-ring before next dive.

Great question mate, I know the company that makes them showed Freedom 7 to be out of stock for the last month. Someone is buying them.

Awesome hard to shoot fish.

Curious to see how the synthetic rubber/glue/epoxy/carbon bond holds together over time. That's a lot of resistance pushing that long whip around.
Yeah, just off shore this week,... baby yellow tail, no tuna found. The shark shield is not that bad to dive with so far. Time will tell if the drag line will get wrapped with a fish on.

Thanks, me too Dan.

The White Shark interactions here in California are becoming a weekly occurrence so I told my young bride I would try wearing the Shark Shield Freedom7 in Blue water. I have black Hypalon rubber and expensive glue left over from my inflatable boat build. Tethering to the fin rail keeps the antenna from dropping down near your face on duck dives. I tried it in the pool and there were no noises or squeaks. My son Dillon can hang the antenna off the bow when he fishes off shore so Whitey doesn't think the black boat is a dead whale

I have more then a few trips like that., that's called blue water training.

This weekend I tested some prime line red 9/16 at 350% elongation... I was very surprised to see the scale read 130lbs. Great rubber.
