I've been spearfishing for about 6 months with some buddies in the Bay Area, CA. We mostly dive in the Monterey Bay but do some stuff further north and south. I'm a grad student so my schedule is pretty flexible and I'd like to dive at least once a week if conditions are good. I am still in need of some gear (borrowing spears and floats) but am waiting to find some decent deals on nice equipment. I know I'll be spearfishing for a while so I don't want to invest in cheap equipment that will break. So if you've got some mid-range gear to sell, I'm looking!
