had never heard of them. just looked them up. French airgun. quite expensive. if you dont mind me asking, why are you wanting a neumatic? for that price you can buy u a new riffe or something like that. I dont know much about them besides i have heard they are more apt. to break down and require more maintenance. just speaking from what ive been told, NOT on personal experience.

    Hello,
I like air guns and this seems to be very interesting gun.
I never mention I wanted to buy it,
Air guns do not break down that easy just for your personal info.
In fact none of the ones I have owned have never "broken" down.
Maintenance is pretty much the same as any band gun.
Its a personal preference again, if you chose bands or air.

Thanks for the info guys, I would love to shoot one of those someday.

    Hey guys,
Does anyone have any info on maco2speargun,
I just came across their site and their guns look interesting.
    Thanks,
    Brian

    He looked thick!!!

    Saludos,
    Brian

The Spanish Mackerel you see in the vid is Scomberomorus commerson http://www.fishbase.org/summary/Speciessummary.php?id=121 not the same as our little Scomberomorous maculatus http://indian-river.fl.us/fishing/fish/mackspan.html Although similar hunting styles may work for both fish.

Now I know where you got the idea that you need a 130cm gun to take them Brian. I have good success with mackerels, always with solid mid body shots, a 110-115cm gun does just fine.

    You are right Dan,
I have decided to try out the 115.
I will let you know when I could pass pick it up.

the closest thing we have to that on the down and over here are the beach cams,, ive never seen a cali beach cam posted. but i imagine theyd exist, especially for surfers

yeah they do, I have seen them at the HOLISTER store here in miami, they have them there on some big screen with surfers and its live lol

    Thanks for the advice everyone,
I will go hunting this week coming up and will post here the results,
every time I go out see spanish and cero macs but most of the time miss them.
Hopefully that will change now :)
    Grasias por su ayuda muchachos,
    Brian

    Attan,
eso es lo que casi siempre pasa! Acen unos amatrix y esquivan la varilla lol

    Core Sub,

So, After last sunday I need some help.
I seem to always miss macs, I can never hit them :angry5:
They are always hauling ass and swiming away from me,
Is there any tips you guys use to shoot those fast macs?
Any help would be greatly appriciated.
    Tank you,
    Brian

I agree with Dan, for me chest loading is painful lol. I have always hip loaded my gun, cant get used to chest loading even though my wetsuit has the pad.
and I have also tried the flip flop glued on the back of the gun, it broke/got lose after a few dives. Although, it did make it more comfortable.

    Hey guys,
Was nice meeting you lunkerbuster and shallow runner.
The current was rippin on sunday, I went up to the end of first reef and saw NADA to shoot. Only a few undersize hogs and snappers.
I hope to be out there monday and tuesday next week.
Hope to see some of you around.
    Brian
