I tried on a pair of Cressi along with some others, if i recall the Cressi was a bit wide, my foot slid around in it a lot. Not sure why no one seems to make different widths.

Actually the old school masks, or as my sister calls them "Voyage to the bottom of the sea" ones, are not that bad they have a really good field of view, I had one as a kid and it was a child's mask but was really good quality compared to the children's masks now, the only bad thing was the rubber that was used back then, it was really stiff and could be irritating when worn for a long time but still worked really well, but newer ones are made with silicone now which is softer and not irritating, though rubber is still used. The rubber was the only fault those had

Thank you all for the advise I did find a place over here in so. CA and you all are right, trying them on first is the best way, I did try the SEAC and they fit pretty good, the Cressi were slightly big but and 2 others were so so, I wen with a pair called Hammer Head that are modular, they fit perfect so did another that I forgot the name of but they were more than what I wanted to spend at this time, maybe later.
But I did like the SEAC, but he only had them with carbon fiber so they were more expensive than the ones in the link

My girlfriend would love this, she swims with sharks:thumbsup2:

I've always been partial to the old school single lens type on the right for the look and the field of view, though I do like the ease of packing and compact size of the goggle type on the left, just wish there were better looking ones.

Hi every one, I'm old to fishing, but new to spearfishing, I've always used poles, but I want to learn about sperfishing, My Dad did it once but was nervous about sharks :sharky:. He kept his speargun but left it out in a shed with bad roof and door so it got corroded, even the spear or harpoon was stuck in it, I don't know what happened to it.
I like the ocean though, and the fish don't bother me :surfing:
