    hello everyone,

I have my breier 760 B3 C5 carbon fins, but a friend of mine was trying to find a comparison between Bluetec and Breier carbon fins and he did not find any.

I also tried to find him something comparative but never found a discussion between the two.

So i said why not opening a discussion to share.

I will give my own experience with tje Breier i have and hope someone can do the same with blietec.

    Personal feedback on:

Breier 760mm (blade dimension) - B3 (hardness stands to medium) - C5 (type of carbon used)

    - I am 1.69 m (5'7") and 74 kg (163 lb)

Spearfishing 50% from shore and 50% from boat

    - Depth between 8 m (26 ft) and 22 m (72 ft) depends on spearfishing season - and up to 33 m (108 ft) when freediving

The lengnth of the baldes helped me a lot as mr. Breier told me 760 mm is perfect when we do shore and boat spearfishing. The hardness being medium is also very soft in my feet. I barely feel fatigue and i can sometimes find mself at the bottom with very few kicks.

The blades are very smooth and do handle some cratches. And the pathos footpockets make your feet very comfortable.

Weight of the fins is around 1.8 kg (3.95 lb) very light in water

    Speed/fatigue works perefctly to me.

    :)

Marco thanks a lot for all the details :)

    i'm taking the Mares :D:D:D

I went through the same selection process a little over a year ago and decided to buy the Mares Smart Apnea. Along with ease of use, battery life and ease of changing the battery were big factors for me. I'm happy with my choice.

so i understand from you that it's easy to change the battery for the Mares Smart Apnea because concerning the battery thing i've read a lot of people who messed up their diving computers while changing the battery which made water leaks into their watches at the end !!!

Thank you for your feedback Wayno

    Thank you Dan,

well concerning the Oceanic F11, the diving shop beside my home has 2, I didn't know that the watch was discontinued form the market !!!

Suunto D4F is actually on the top of my list but I wanted to check some experts like you and the others here...

Because as I read online, the D4F is very easy to use and straight forward for free divers it has not that complications...

I just want to buy a good computer that I won't have to change it within 1 or 2 years laters, even if I will have to pay $$$ I don't know if because the D4F isn't that expensive it might not be that good so it can last long !!!

that's why I said ask the expert they know better

    thank you again Dan

hello everyone hope you're all good,

My biggest concern is about choosing a good and simple freediving computer, I did my online reviews research but I prefer to check your personal experience and feedback on the following computers:
    - Suunto d4f
    - Mares Smart Apnea
    - Oceanic F11

And for sure I would be glad to check other than the three I mentioned above computers.

Looking forward to hear from you...

    Thank you all

    joe

thanks you Marco (btw your quote, is super perfect :D cheers :cool2::thumbsup2:)

any idea about BleuTec ? i just found that brand and it's a bit expensive than regular spearguns, any idea if if has a special technique or something like that ?

that's a nice speargun but i tried once the pneumatic (my freind has one) i didn't find it that practical maybe because i'm used to the band speargun since i started spearfishing

but it's an interesting speargun the mares cyrano, i read some reviews about it.

thank you for your help :)

hello everyone, i've been a spearfisher since 5 years, and since i started i had a Beuchat Arka 90 cm, but it's almost dusty and i need to buy a new speargun.

i'm not that pro i don't go that deeper, i reached 19 m and never been deeper. most the fish i go for are between 0.7 kg and 5 kg, so far never caught more than 5.165 kg (that's exactly my biggest record so far lol, a duksy grouper)

i dive on the lebanese coast targeting groupers.

my budget is between 150 Euro and 350 Euro (i mainly buy my spearfishing equipment from europe, cause since i started people around me always use european equipment, that's why i mentioned euro currency, if you have any other choice, i'm surely open and glad to hear your advice)

so what do you think ?

    thank you in advance :)

Hello everyone, i'm joe from Lebanon we live beside the coast most of us are divers but few are freedivers or spearfishers and I'm one of those :)

I'm a spearfisher since 5 years and I dive in the north and the mid-coast of the country
