In the vice I like to use rubber. A piece of old (thin) rubber car mat is perfect, it even has ridges running lengthwise which makes for a better grip in the vice.

I don't know why glue is necessary between the grip and handle frame. The Speardiver Phantom handle only requires the pin, the pin is stainless steel though.

I agree with you Dan!!! They shouldn't use glue or rubber to "fix" it!

Hi Josh! I had two problems with the original handle grip that was:

    *my hand is too big for it! It doesn't grip well, sometimes, hurt my hand;

*I usually shot with both hands and the handle grip just works with right hand!

So I bought this model that fits im my hand, don't hurt them and I can shoot with both them!

It worked! After a lot of swearing and crying!!! kkkkkkk Ant it had a piece of rubber inside the handle grip, between grip and pin, I believe that was to "fix" really hard!

I didn't destroy the original handle grip...Believe or not! I tied a rope in the hole of the grip and pulled out hardly! I could change the model that i wanted at first!

Thanks a lot for yous help!

The Rob Allen rail barrel is manufactured from aircraft grade aluminium with a wall thickness of 1.45mm.

The internal diameter is 26.5mm and an external diameter of 29.5mm.

    Hi folks!

I'm here with another doubt to experts: "what's the main difference between carbon fins sweep "C" and sweep "J"?"

I know that is the area where happens the deformation (middle (sweep C) or end (sweep J)) but in the water, when you're kicking down or up, what is the difference between them??? Speed, strengh, comfort?

If anyone could help me with this doubt I would be greatful!

"Deep Master PRO" fins (Pure Carbon sweep "J")

Deep Master "Сlassic" carbon fins (sweep "С")

    Hi Ygy!

If I were you I had already bought a Pathos Laser Open or a Cressi Cherokee, both are the best spearguns in the market, in my opinion!

But Cressi is a little fragile tha Pathos! Now I'm using Pathos Laser Open and is the best speargun that I've had used ever!!! Forget other brands....Get one Pathos and you will understand what I'm talking about....It's simple, resistent, durable!

I hope that it could helped you!

    Hi Bruno,

What I do is I have one 3 mm open cell wetsuit and one full body two pieces hooded lycra. Depending on water temperature, I wear one or the other or combine neoprene top with lycra pants. Speardiver wetsuits are good. My son Franco and myself use them. The lycra I have is Rob Allen. Very good too.

Thanks for your advice Marco! After some thoughts I bought the Seacsub Makaira but it is not opencel...it is nylon inside and outside with 2mm...it's great for now but works just in warm water....I will buy a Cressi Apnea opencell suit wit 3,5mm soon....for cold waters...actually to spearfishing in the winter.....

I sold my Omer Master Team 5mm opencell wetsuit because is necessary a lot of weight in the belt and I feel unconfortable with....I prefer less weight....

Suits are like masks - best to try them on. At the very least, download a sizing chart from Seacsub and see if you tend to fit how they cut their suits.
If you are very lucky, pretty much the most you can hope for it that someone has tried it and you can compared your body type to his.

But, for me, the ONLY problem is the price of them!!! Masks you spend about 30 until 50 dollars...wetsuit you pay over 100 dollars!!! It's tuff!!!
