go here http://www.scubasworld.com/ the cressi commanchi is good and almost any of the euro guns, of course for a few dollars more a rob allen will outlive you and be wonderful and like the previous responder said, get a 110cm for that clear Caribbean water. unless you are diving with 1-3 foot vis like i have here inshore in jacksonville near the river, you need a longer gun. my current gun is a omer t20 carbon that i cut down from 90cm to 60cm, now i can use it, but i have my mako 110 for cleaner water.

Hello all, just saying hi, I'm a diver here in jacksonville fl. I hail from St.thomas,u.s.v.i. I try to go home at least once a year to do some diving for a week or two. Here in jax i have a dedicated dive buddy that i hit the jetties with for sheephead and snapper. We should be getting a boat within a week and should be hitting offshore pretty soon. Hope to hear from any other divers in the area and especially fl.
