I'm trying to finish off my Bluewater gun design and I would just like to ask a few questions if possible. I have never had a mid handle gun and I'm not sure how much shaft overhang will be suitable. I read the overhang thread in building 101 but it was a smaller rear handled gun. If you compare a few commercial guns they are quite different, why is that.?
And secondly how much weight is enough to counteract recoil for 5 x 16mm rubbers for 3/8 or 11/32 shaft size( I want to know how much lighter the 11/32 is before I choose). The gun is enclosed track.
