A Rob Allen 120 Tuna with 7 mm spear , 16 mm bands and loading butt has great range. It was my set up for open water but my RA 110 roller has the same range so i use it almost exclusively

Thanks for your replies !. I ordered the Hero 7, I will go with the mask mount. The thing is my current Salvimar mask is super comfortable and the dive shop does not have a GOPRO ready version to it, Ill have to do some fitting at the dive shop.

Good day guys, I need some advice on purchasing and setting up a action camera to record my dives and catches. I am considering the GOPRO hero 7 black, on Amazon its for $230 USD.

Is it a good choice?

Are there are more cost effective options that are similar in quality?

What attachments are required to attach it to my gun? I am using a RA 110 roller

Hey, it works for me. In my opinion, if you are comfortable with your gear you can focus more on stealth and shooting more fish.

My current setup is a RA 110 roller with a 150 cm long 7mm shaft, its powered by 14mm primeline bands @ 380%. Originally I had a 7.5mm shaft but i kept missing medium range "easy shots", I figured it was due to low shaft speed so I replaced the shaft with a 7mm and the changes were remarkable!!

No sir, we cut it into 1/2" thick slices, garnish it with pineapple, tomatoes and spices before baking.

Good day, all, I am new to the group, I hail from Trinidad in the Caribbean. This group, in my opinion, is populated by very experienced spearos, its my hope that i may benefit form your vast knowledge and if possible i can contribute to the development of others. Our twin island republic is small but our marine environment is very diverse, many sort after pelagic and reef species can be caught here. I look forward to incorporating the learning from this group into my hunting endeavors.
