Just found this forum and wanted to drop in and say hi. I'm looking forward to contributing to the community.

I live in NE and have been diving for 6 years and spearing for about 3. Last year I got much more involved in the sport. I'm currently working to change a few spearfishing regulations in NE.

Being so far from salt, I only get a few trips a year to spear in clear water. Most of my spearing is done in freshwater. Having few opportunities to spear, I spend a few minutes each day lookig at spearing vids and reading reports. With 14" of ice on my local lake right now, forums like this keep me saine.

I'm a member of some other spearfishing forums, and see some familiar names here. As for others I havn't met, I look forward to shooting the breeze with ya.
