Oh man these peta people are so moronic. If they ever saw a whale on the beach they would call SeaWorld. They do the same thing at Children's Pool- If a seal is injured they call Sea World to rescue it but they are the same people who protest Sea World.

I would like to officially give this to PETA and APRL as well as Sealwatch and Sea Shepard.

    :finger:

That sucks having a brother who is better at things then you, at least that what My brother tells me all the time ;)

I just let him think that lol. But he is my younger brother and he is bigger and stronger than me. It sucks and I don't want to see if he can kick my ass cause I am sure he can since he is training for buds.

Pursuit has been selling the flat lens and including it with the camera since the Gopro HD hero came on the market. Pursuit also sells different filters for underwater use. The one you're talking about is probably the polarized filter which eliminates glare. Since most of my customers buy the camera for underwater use where glare is not a problem, I didn't add the polarized filters to the store. I will reconsider it.

Are you the one flying the plane? What is your work?

Well I mostly use them for underwater. I would like to get the filter for my flat lens. When I order the HERO2 I will snag it from you and add a filter for underwater. No need to go out of the way for me just to stock a polarized on. Sure I can find it somewhere else.

I am not the one flying those planes. I clean warbirds and private jets for work. Its fun for now.

So Pursuit is selling the package with the flat lens????

Have you tried the lens filters? If you look on my video you can see the prop wash but on some of the cameras I have a different more expensive camera that my client had and it had lens filters that took the prop wash out.

It would be nice to have the remote control for these things because it is a pain to turn them on right before the planes were taxing out to the runway. I was getting hit by oil while trying to turn all the cameras on. I had 8 going but not all of them had good footage because of the sun. It would have been nice to have the lens filter then I would have had a lot more footage. In some of the footage you can see that the sun takes up a lot of the footage. BTW I am not a pro as you can see by the video but I just do it for fun at work.

Ah thanks Bret. Now I see where the hat trick term came from. I read about it here as well------- en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hat-trick

I like to call it a Jackpot instead. Like a a slot machine when you get 7,7,7 in a row. From what I'm reading a hat trick is when you get 3 of something in a single day or a single game, not multiple days.

ahhhh I am enlightened Daniel. Thanks.

    Matt triple seven jackpot?

BTW guys Matt is my brother he is a great diver and been diving longer and in more places than I have. He is tied even with my father for best hunting and fishing buddy.

    What's a lobster hat trick?

Well in hockey three goals is a hat trick. So last night marked two days of lobster limits so tonight chances are he will get another limit which will make it a hat trick. You could call it a lobster slam but that is more for different species like a turkey slam(who cares about turkey) or sheep slam(Dall, Stone, Desert, Rocky mountain sheep).

Glad I could help. Make sure you at least pass it through or something besides just whipping the end, it'll slip.
So, from what I'm understanding you just need a bit longer spectra line or trim off like 6" of tubing....? That way you could do it the exact same way you did the other side.
    A picture might help.

I like that the poly rope is lighter than a tube floatline, I've had both of them knot up. I've actually got a neptonics floatline here that I used once. It's pretty bulky, but that's my opinion. :) I keep it as a loaner.

I use strictly poly as well. It is cheap and i am not worried if it is needed for something on the boat since it is so cheap to replace.

[quote='Reefchief','http://spearfishing.world/forums/index.php?thread/&postID=57661#post57661']Those are probably the same tutorials ive seen.

I did that for the first end (putting the spectra back through itself), before I ran it through the tube. The problem I am having is with the second end. The spectra cant be ran through itself with the tubing and other end attached.

The tutorials ive found overcome this issue by sticking the second floatline plug through the splice, but the swivels welded onto my floatline plugs prevent this from being an option.

You can you just have to stretch the PVC over it. I could be having a brain fart though. :thumbsup2: Let us know how it turns out.
