Greetings to all. Nice to see a forum that has a mandatory meet and greet, makes it all feel a bit closer to home.
I am originally from Rhodesia and grew up everywhere. I first started diving (scuba & free) when I was 11 in Comoros and Zanzibar as well Guyana while on holiday with family. After a stint flying in the military I transfered departments to become a sniper and realized spearfishing as a kid did have a purpose. After spending over a decade in Africa working for various military organizations I decided it was time to get out.
Get out I did and now travel around diving, spearing, u/w photo, sailing and such .... I currently spend a majority of my time between Dominica and Grand Bahama these days as my girl is still working for an organization that has facilities in both locations. I spend a lot of time in the water, a fair amount of time instructing kids to swim, freedive and spear (read > a lot of target practice) and a little bit of time instructing SCUBA and ocean conservation for local groups.
Anyway, in the end with any luck I will learn something from each and every one of you that will actually make myself a decent diver.
