beautiful lavraki, is it about 4 kilos? chipura is one of my favorite eating fish in the aegean/med and that one looks like it's close to 2 kilos. nice gun too, is that a big fish reverse mech? lets see more pics of it from different angles.
there may not be as many fish in the aegean but the diving is beautiful and from time to time you run across some really big fish, this summer i saw about a dozen bluefins in the 100 to 150 kilo range but couldn't get close enough for a shot.
The lavraki is (well ,was before the barbeque)5,200 kg and the tsipoura only 1,850 but it was thin and for its length should be about 2,200-2,300 like other better fed cousins i scored:D.
About the gun is a Panex design and mec, bought it in a ''primitive'' stage and worked and finished it myself.
Has 2 bands 18 mm dia and a 7mm shaft.Quite heavy but like feather in the water and though it packs a lot of downrange energy, has ignorable recoil, ergo i ve shot a zargana with it:@.
When i ll find some free time i ll resize more photow of this and my other fishproviders:thumbsup2:.
Sea ya...
