Greetings Spearos -
I am an avid scuba diver and spearfisherman, but have recently started working on my freediving. I live in the Fayetteville, AR area and I dive Beaver Lake almost every weekend. I hunt cats, walleye, striper and the ocassional rough fish. I'm looking forward to my first blue water hunt this spring.
As far as gear, I have a 90cm Mako with reel and a 6' Triton travel spear. Both are effective, but I love hunting with the Mako.
I've started freediving in <20 ffw during surface intervals. Just trying to hone my skills. Any tips for a new guy would be greatly appreciated.
