Nice Build Kleberson I like the Barrel and the shapes. Where you spearfishing in Brazil? What you catching?

    Thanks Behslayer!

Well, I live in the central Brazil region. So I dive a lot in fresh water and the fish that I like to catch is the peacock fisch (In Brazil: TUCUNARÉ as in the pic of my avatar). But I can catch many other types like many different catfish.
When I can, I travel to the Brazil coast, especially to Brazilian Northeast where is very good to spearfishing.

    Nice gun!
    .
in my modest opinion a suggestion: if it,s made with teak (grade A/ I guess) it does'nt need any protection by oil or varnish, unless for cosmetcic...

You are correct Virgili! But, the teak wood only will be mature and with good quantity of natural oil to promote a natural waterproofing when it comes from trees 30 years old. Here in Brazil, the people cut the teak tree when they are 15 or 20 year old. So, they don't have good natural waterproofing and for that reason I applied epoxi resin.
I didn't understand what you mean with grade A.

Moreover, I don't like to spend time applying oil in my guns... So, i prefer resin plus automotive varnish and it will be done forever!

    Thanks for your comment!

    Hello folks!
I'd like to show the speargun that I'm making. It is almost ready! I need to finish the reel and tie the rubbers. I used invert wide Speardiver Mech (To me this is the best one!) and Teak wood.

    I hope you enjoy!

    Hello guys!

It's been a long time since I wanted to talk about the Speardiver fins. I said something about them on other topics but never mentioned durability. I have these fins since they were still Pursuit! They already have five years and are driving me as the day that I received them.

Thank you Dan, by offering top quality material at a fair price!

    Wishihadgills,
    I'm confuse...
Don't You have to use the same % elongation in both guns?:confused1::crazy: If in the rollergun the stretched length is 200 cm and in the conventional it is 115 cm, they can't use the same size of bands:nono:
In the roller gun the bands has to be bigger in your example doesn't it?
Or it may get more power shorting the bands in the conventional gun...

PS. 5 cm in the roller muzzle is too much:):)

    Hello everyone,

I have used the Speardiver blade with Pathos footpockets (3rd generation) since it was Pursuit... I love this combination. I can dive all day and I don't feel pain or cramp. The set is very light and I feel like if I had nothing in my feet! The blade works very well and it is too reactive with good energy transfer.

    Hi Dan!
Do you already have this Speardiver float for sale?
    Regards
    KWS

Ok Phil and Paul thanks for the informations! But look, only in the last two aplications was made with diluted resin using spray gun. I did this for a better finishing. The three firsts application was made using paint-brush and resin without thinner. I believe that the finishing was better like this way.
    Cheers

Finally I'm finishing my speargun! It is a 140 (56 inches) for blue water.
I used Brasilian mohogany (Swietenia macrophylla) and Pequiá (Caryocar Villosum) and a Pursuit reverse mechanism. It will use 8.0 mm shaft and 4 bands. look the pics (they are not so good). I'll post more pics with bands and shaft later.
