Thought I'd post this just so it will be out there in case anyone becomes interested in developing this. It's a spike for a pipe gun. I envisioned it mounted on the barrel with two screws. A better idea may be a plastic muzzle with the spike incorporated into it. I don't use euro guns and I'm not experienced working with plastics so I'm not pursuing making it. I do have a spike on all my wood guns. Tin Man made a better drawing of it.
Kill spike for euro guns

I was thinking about this recently as well, Dan. Here is the drawing I made. No significant differences, really. I drew it with the intent that the attachment screws would bite into the section of the muzzle which is inside the barrel. I also designed this sketch with very little "wrap" around the barrel, so that it could easily be installed off to one side to provide clearance for the shooting line on the other side. That might affect balance, though, depending on how heavy the spike was.

Very nice, as usual you take take things to the next level. There's a thread on SB that prompted me to post this. You may want to reply there too but be aware it may lead to you having to actually make one (or two)

I saw the thread. That's what got me thinking about it!

BTW one of the screws on your prototype is missing a head

If you look carefully, you will notice that the right side of the sectional drawing shows a screw inserted, while the left side shows an empty hole for reference. :poke:
