I was gonna say, the two barbs make a greater likelihood that you can't get the shaft out if it gets stuck in a rock past the floppers. Usually you can turn the shaft so the flopper closes and pull it out, but with two floppers you get the same effect as when it's holding fish, when one flopper closes the other opens.
